Since 2009, HUD's multifamily programs have been a rapidly expanding resource for financing rental housing. DOMO Consulting offers a full range of services for lenders that need help with applying for HUD approval, including the training that is needed to prepare for participating in and underwriting HUD's multifamily programs. For property owners and housing authorities, DOMO Consulting acts as their Development Consultant to provide feasibility assessments, to select developers and general contractors, and to negotiate financing and investment in affordable projects on behalf of its clients.
The Communities Group (Washington, D.C.) partnered with the Fayetteville Metropolitan Housing Authority (Fayetteville, N.C.) to build 220 units of affordable family and senior housing in Fayetteville, NC. The project was financed with tax exempt bonds from both the State of North Carolina and the City of Fayetteville, and HUD's HOME Program.
